Pretty much it just harms your ******. It's called a hemorrhoid and it can hurt like holy hell. Pushing out a baby can cause them, too. Try eating more fiber.
Further, if you DON'T force out the poo it will harm your insides.

not really, however there are problems that do occur:
1. hemorrhoids. continued exertion called a valsalva maneuver pushes blood into the lower (anal) small vessels. over time this creates hemorrhoids external, internal or both. a symptom of both is blood in stool. other things might occur but this is the most common and least harmful but not least problematic.

2. continued strain (called a valsalva maneuver) can cause a vaso-vagal reflex. essentially the straining puts pressure on the vagus nerve causing a multitude of symptoms like, slow heart rate, decrease in blood pressure, decrease in blood flow to the brain, lightheadedness and even fainting.

Eventually, yes you can. Try a stool softener, or Mineral Oil to keep yourself slicked up, from the inside, I mean. Take two tablespoons a day. It will keep you slippery.

If you push too hard it could cause problems. Provided you do not have an obstruction, about the worst that could happen is a prolapse, which isn't good.

It can cause hemorrhoids and while your doing it, it can raise your pulse and your blood pressure. That's why so many people (mainly elderly) have actually died that way.

Straining to poop can cause hemorrhoids.

Plus, if you have a heart condition, it can be dangerous.
