has a welp on his penis, he thinks its a std but the doctor said it was jock itch... should he be worried. There are no symptons... it doesn't bother him he's just worried...should he be

I would get a second opinion if I was worried, anything to do with our bodies that may cause us to loose sleep or waste valuable free time on should be followed up...just to allay the fears.
If he is not worried about it and YOU are, I would ask him to get it checked out a second time by someone else, for you :)
Skin tags/whelps CAN just be a normal occurrence with some people, not harmful at all.

For piece of mind you should get another opinion. Planned Parenthood will do tests and not charge you anything. I would think the first Dr was educated enough to know to test for all std's, but you never know! Good Luck

Well if his doc told him that it's not std well he shouldn't be worried anymore, at least he have it checked.
