You sound like a candidate for the KKK or the neo Nazis.

Okay, how is President Bush "taking freedoms away"? Last I checked, we do still have freedom of speech. We also have freedom of privacy, unless of course we're involved with al-Qaeda and other terrorist groups. Are you? No? Then you have nothing to worry about. Your phone calls are wire-tap free, and your snail mail, email, and other correspondence remain between you and whoever you send messages to.
Not only that, but I believe it was the NY Times which recently published an FAQ about the "surveillance", and in it, they explained that normal Americans were not under surveillance. This is not from what President Bush was telling them; it's from the phone companies and other sources. Read it yourself. Calm your mind a little bit.
Even if the government WAS listening in, they are not allowed to listen for more than two minutes of everyday chatter. It may be a little more or less than that. They would only listen in on more if you were REALLY suspicious. For example, if you were talking to someone in, say, Iran. Or Sudan. Or maybe Saudi Arabia.
If you were talking to your grandma in Detroit, or your best friend who lived just down the street, they wouldn't care.
Since when is President Bush for cheap labor?
And yes, voting does make a difference. The electoral votes depend on who gets the popular vote in each state.

Bush and the right wing Neocons seem to have a well planned strategy to steal the government from us, the people, and give it to the major corporations. They do this by eliminating programs that are of benefit to people while handing over vast sums of money to corporate interests. The principles of Democracy don't support this so they simply steal the elections. Bush lost the popular vote both times. Now they are insisting on using voting machines that can be rigged in 2 minutes by a hacker, so they win even if they lose.

You are sounding like an independent.. but I think your true calling is Republican... all thing you mentioned are what the republicans are for and Most of them are willing to give some of their freedoms up to fight the war on terror..Yes and voting could make the change but the poor working man will never be president again.... Its become so expensive to run now if you are not born rich and know the right people you don't have a chance....

Bush did not take your freedoms away if he did you wouldn't be on this website bad mouthing him for one. This comment is for Davidi, I seem to recall that President Bush won the electoral college which keeps liberals in the big cities from trying to control the election so that the smaller states votes would count. Don't be a sore loser, be a Proud American. By the way, the votes were counted over & over by both parties under strict supervision and President Bush still won both elections. Get over it already!

Ben Franklin said "Those who believe personal freedom should be sacrificed for security deserve neither." I think it's great that American people are up in arms about the government.
We are searched at airports, our personal information is stored by people who can't even protect their own secrets... We pay for people to drain our economic resources dry, even though a bunch of the people receiving aid don't pay taxes and aren't citizens. Voting does make change, but lately has been a choice between many worthless candidates.
It is our job to question whether or not people responsible for making choices for us are acutally making the right choices for us. Do they have the best intentions, or do they have a dog in the fight? If no one is asking the hard questions, if no one cares what happens, then the people are at risk to suffer from corruption. Thank you for doing your duty, even if your complaint wasn't as clear and concise as other people may have liked.

By "eliminating programs that help people" I assume you mean the entitlement programs that exist to help people that Bush has spent more in funding than any other President in history.
Feel free to try again....
Oh, and for the record, the popular vote was lost one time, in 2000. Also for the record, we don't elect Presidents by popular vote.

You are right on target. You need to become acquainted with the New World Order, and their diabolical agenda of instituting a one world government, starting world war 3, and reducing world population by at least 2/3. Check out such websites as davidicke.com, and rense.com. We need to wake up to what is really going on, before it's too late, if it isn't already.
