i keep seeing little kids post questions about being popular.. like who seriously gives a s hit if ur popular or not? wouldnt u rather have friends who like u for who u r? i personally think its really retarted for them to wanna change who they are just to be friends with snobby jerks who dont really care about them and r gonna end up working at mcdonalds.

It's easier to be popular in school than unpopular. Would you have liked to be made fun of in school from everything from the clothes you wore to the way you acted? I was unpopular in school. It doesn't matter now that I'm with a family of my own. Kids have to put up with a bunch of crap from all their peers and it's hard on them. I remember not wanting to go to school because I was afraid I would get made fun of or something like that. Kids are cruel these days.

I agree with you BUT unfortunately I didnt see all that until I did grow up! lol Being a teenager was really hard- not as easy as some think! Alot of pressures and so on. I think alot of them think popularity is everyone liking u and its not! There are all this little groups- the druggies- the jocks- the smart kids- the geeks- and so on! U r right- most of them run around pretending to be something they r not! Just trying to fit in! They will eventually figure it all out just like we did!

You seem very comfortable with yourself and you care about you enough to take are of your self. It must be very frustrating to see others having so much difficulty.
To answer your question I believe it is human for people to want to be noticed. We are the most important thing when we are baby's and then as we grow we look for that attention elsewhere. When we were babies we cried to get attention and now as we grow we are tempted to do things we are not comfortable with to be as you call popular.
There are some who believe this is there only way to find value and it becomes A drug to them. Instead of being frustrated maybe you can help them find there value in other ways since you obviously know how to do it.

Everyone wants to be popular because it is way easier not to have people laughing at you and spreading rumors when ur popular no one does they might say good things wanna be all ur best friends but reputation is what every one is worried about!!!!

Im seriously unpopular. I am the president of the Loser-S-A. But
I DONT CARE!!!! I have great friends, and we like to make fun of the popular people. Also, the little girls who dress like preppy sloots scare the heck out of me. They look so creepy...
But yea. My friends like me for me. They would always be there for me, not run away from me the second I do something thats not cool and loose popularity.

Yeah sounds plenty like a number of them at my extreme college. extraordinarily the partying section. do no longer positioned usual infants down nonetheless.. i'm kinda usual. I do basically no longer do basically what you defined. i'm large to quite often each physique, i'm getting all A's, i'm athletic, and that i attempt to be the terrific individual i'd be. So do no longer say all people is the comparable =)

i so agree! kids worry if they have many friends, some r real, some are not. they'll say nice things to your face, and s hit behind your back. who needs those type of people?
