One sidereal day is 23.93447 hours - the length of time it takes the earth to rotate once around its axis.

23 Hrs and 56 minutes to make one revolution in space around its axis, however, by the time it does this, it has moved around the sun about 1/365 of the way (or about 1 degree) so it takes another 4 minutes (for 24 hrs total) before the earth is again facing the sun in the same direction as it was the previous day. Since the position of the sun is the basis for our "solar day", we call 1 day 24 hours.

365 1/4 days pass each time the Earth makes one revolution around the sun. (we make up that 1/4 day by adding an extra day every 4 years, hence leap day Feb. 29th) 24 hours pass each time the Earth makes one rotation.

Around it's own axis, 24 hours, there's probably a few fractions of a second more than that, but for simplicities sake I'll leave it at that.

The earth moon system's orbit around the sun takes 365 days 6 hours 9 minutes 9 seconds. The extra bit is the reason for leap years and leap seconds that are added occasionally to keep the calender aligned with the seasons

The orbit around the galactic core is 226 million years.

24 hours (for one revolution on it's own axis) and 365 and 1/4 days (for one revolution around the sun).

24 hours assuming you mean a revolution on its axis. 365 days if you mean a revolution around the Sun.
