Contact your internet service provider, (the people who will be sending you a bill every month) and ask to speak to their tech support department. Explain the problem to them. I had the same thing happen, and it turned out to be a problem with line connections, several blocks from my home. Once that was fixed, everything worked fine and I haven't had the problem since.

If the problem is with your computer, they will walk you through the "fixit" process and do whatever is necessary on their end of things. I'm sure you have done everything you were supposed to, and it just needs to be "tweaked" a little to get it up and running properly. Good luck! :)

Might be an issue with your phone line. DSL uses the phone line and if your service or telephone wires aren't working strong, it may cause temporary loss of internet.
