A true Democracy! That means one where the government is truly formed Of the people; that is run By the People; and For the benefit of the People. It means that corporate interests can have NO influence-(everybody knows that a corporation is not a PERSON but our government says they are, so the corporate lobbyists can actually Write legislation for their own benefit!) The worst crime would be to do anything that would subvert the will of the people or interfere with the rule of Freedom and Democracy in any way.

A tribal form, with a tribal council that includes all the adults. It would be more or less like a democracy, except that very few things would need to be decided by the tribal council, because most people would do their own thing. Also, I think anything important enough to be put to a council vote would have to win by more than 51%. 67% to 75% seems more reasonable.
Of course, this would only work for a pretty small unit. If we are talking about larger units, then they would be a council of representatives of each of the tribes, to meet maybe every three months or so. Again, only those things that cannot be decided at the tribal level, or done by the individual in his or her own way, would need to be addressed in the larger pow-wow. As to how those representatives would be chosen, I suppose it might be a vote, but I imagine it would mostly be elders; chosen on the basis of age, with the option of telling someone they must stay home if they are getting too dotty. Or letting them go anyway as long as they are strong enough to make the trip, and count on them not having too much influence.

I would choose a civil war as my government.
A civil war would prevent anyone from ever getting out of line and it would keep the people tough and ready for action.
There are too many people in America who sit around on their lazy asses watching television and playing video games and going to the mall who have never been in anything resembling a real world scenario and have no comprehension of the experiences of people in say former Soviet Russia, dictatorships of the past like Hitler, or Pol Pot's or even the Roman empire, or the cruelty perpetrated by the Assyrians throughout the ancient middle east, etc. etc. etc.
They have no stomach for war and no capacity for resolute action. They are as far removed in spirit and resolve from the mentality and person of the founding fathers as a people can be and yet they think that they are all eminently qualified to spew off their opinions on everything.
A civil war would keep them focused on an ongoing real life crisis and never give them the time to regress into their juvenile post modern democracy state of being, or state of hardly being.
It would also give them to appreciate the tough decisions that are sometimes required in tough situations and the kind of real action that gets things done as opposed to the endless talk and jibber jabba that doesn't get anything done but is so common in democratic societies.
Yep I think a Civil War would be the best kind of government.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA !!!!!!!!!!!
Also when a civil war ends it gives the land rest and the people value peace and freedom more.

With a sufficiently small inhabitants (below a pair dozen), you may desire to probably have some thing on the threshold of communism artwork, yet as your inhabitants builds it is going to likely be completely impractical. It somewhat relies upon on who's placing it up. i could like to be a totalitarian dictator, in spite of the shown fact that it is only no longer useful for me and - besides - i like the belief of being usual, so i could circulate with a democracy. i think of possibly I genuinely have performed Tropico adequate cases that i could be waiting to get it... the two way, they could call me "El Presidente."
