I have tried everything... strips, scrubs, toners, masks, dermatologist... my blackheads/pores seem to disappear/shrink temporarily but within 2 days they come right back. What works the best for this problem?

They really won't shrink, they will appear smaller but it is not permanent. I know it sounds corny but a proper diet does wonders for your skin. I could not believe the difference when I quit eating junk, also don't touch your face!

As for face wash, I love MAC and they have a scrub that works wonders. I then use the cucumber toner from Bath and Body, Bigelow brand. Then MAC moisturizer. For eye make up I use LUSH sweet baby face. It is like a wax, it is hard to get used to but works great. I used to have horrible skin, it is now very clear thanks to good products.

Don't buy crappy products. Go get a facial, and start a new skin care regement. Oh and your pores will never shrink (thats like telling you hand to shrink), you can only use products that make them appear smaller.

Dont need to buy anything special. It is simple. Wash your face with the hottest water you can take then real quick rinse your face with the coldest water you can take. The hot water opens your pores and gets all the dirt out. The cold closes them back up fast before any dirt can get back in.

Try using the olay regenerist or olay's new microdermabrasion kit they just came out with. You only use both products once a week. They both have helped my skin. Make sure you wash your face before you go to sleep and use oil free make up

i have that problem too my dermatologist gave me SULPHO-LAC soap $10 (but you can try anything that contains at least 5% SULFUR) and they look a lot better is not magical and if you stop using it they will come back HELLOOOOO with this kind of things you have to be consistent, if it bother you that much try professional microdermabrasion, peeling, or laser, is going to cost you but if you are not consistent is the best thing to do.

try this facial to remove blackheads=D
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^Gelatin Blackhead Remover^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
dissolve one tablespoon of unflavored gelatin in two tablespoons of milk over low heat. Let cool and apply to face, leave on for 30 minutes then peel off blacheads should peel off with the gelatin.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
and i heard that rubbing for face with ice helps tighten your pores
or you can also try the oatmeal paste that (mix oatmeal with some water) and leave on your face for 30 minutes that helps too..............try doing this three times a week to keep your skin clean.=D
