i wanna hear everyones thoughts about whether jimmie johnson can hold on for rest of the season or will someone else sneak in?

I want Tony Stewart to win, but I'm not sure if he can do it (he's 11th in points...arggg!) I think Jimmie may very well keep his standings and win the championship. He deserves it...Jimmie's a cool guy and should win because he has done well so far.

No doubt Jimmie Johnson will be in the Race for the Chase; however, I think he is due for a major letdown. I don't know why but when I look at him I see Mark Martin - excellent driver, very talented but destined to always be the bridesmaid and never the bride.
I would not be surprised in the least if Jeff Gordon won it. He feels he has something to prove and that makes for a great motivator.

Dale Jr will make a miraculous about face and take the nextel cup at the ford 400 race at homestead and when they talk to him after the race him will tell everybody there that his daddy was riding shotgun with him all day,then he will announce that he is leaving DEI to drive a all black #3 goodwrench service plus Monte Carlo SS for Richard childress starting in 2007 with his daddy's picture on the hood to intimidate all the other drivers.

Tony Stewart will bounce back and win it. Why? Because he is the best driver out there. I don't think Jimmie can win the championship. He has been leading at this point in the season for the past two years, but he always chokes.

jimmie has a good lead right now, but when things are evened out i don't think he'll be able to get a lead again and he'll lose..
i have a feeling that matty is really in conention for his second win. i think smoke still has a great shot and will be one of those in the end going for it... but in all honestly, it's just about anyone's (well at least 15 guys') game so we'll see.

Hopefully Johnson (oh wow, named after a male organ...that's brutal...it isn't his first name dumbass, so he wasn't named after it) can maintain the lead, but one bad day can change everything! I think if Johnson makes one mistake Kenseth could take it, he has been right there and has been running pretty good lately! Kahne also has a chance, after many victories this year!

I would like to see named after a male organ Johnson get edged out again but you never can tell after all, Kurt Busch won! As long as it aint the rat Kyle I am a happy camper I guess.

you always get the I love the F@g Gordon people, the Jeff wants Jimmies Johnson people, to stewart who wants Gordons @ss all for himself......but to answer your question #17 Matt Kenseth will win the chase.

it depends how well Johnson does in the last 10 races...last couple of years hes had at least two bad races in them and was over taken
