the name of the song on the commercial where this truck is driving and as its drivin all these other trucks fallow it making a convoy i think its a ford commercial but anyways does anyone know the song off of that commercial?

I believe the name of that song is "Convoy" it goes "we got a convoy aint she a beuatful sight?" breaker breaker 10-4-9 and all kinds of trucker jargon in it. I dont know who sings it thouigh

Ford Trucks has used several performers to promote their trucks.
In 1999 Alan Jackson promoted Ford's trucks at a Dallas Auto Show singing a song called "Ford Country" loosely based on 1 of his 1 hit songs "Gone Country. He went on to promote Ford for 2-3 yrs.
In 2003 Toby Keith did Ford truck commercials with a song he wrote for them:

He's still doing there comercials for 2006, but on June/28/2006 Taylor Hicks the American Idol winner did a special promotion for Ford's year end's sale. He sang a song called Possibilities for this event.
T.Hicks & his fellow finalist Katharine McPhee won a new MUSTANG from Ford for this.
I don't think Ford ever had a comercial involving a convoy.(That I know off.)
Convoy is a song made famous by C.W.McCall in the 70's, & done again by Paul Brandt(CANADIAN CNT,SNGR.) a few yrs. ago & went to #1 on the country chart as C.W.McCall's did in the 70's.
In 1978 there was a Convoy movie staring Kris Kristopherson, Ali McGraw, Ernest Borgine, Burt Young & Madge Sinclair just to name a few.
