My sister did. We were raised Catholic but she married a Baptist. They split the difference & became Presbyterian. It was the only church they both felt comfortable in.

I was raised Christian, was quite the Bible-thumper during High School, and eventually became the Pagan that I am today. It had most to do with 'feeling God'. I felt His presence several times, but not everytime that I thought I should have. When I asked about this, my Youth Minister told me that what I wanted was dangerously close to the Occult and that I should just read the Bible. He wanted to turn me to dogma instead of the personal experience that I craved. In my group of high school friends, there were several students who studied different religious and metaphysical concepts. While this wasn't a huge influence on me, it certainly let me know that there were other expressions of spirituality in the world.
