Who liked the movie: Osama Tezuka's METROPOLIS? Who was your favorite character?

technically the style and look of the characters could not be more traditional. Tezuka also created the classic Astroboy in the same style which was inspired by old american animation like Tex Avery, hence all the white folk with big eyes and strange hair. that being said i liked some of the robots.

I liked Metropolis. The background animation was superb, though the animation for the human characters took some getting used to...the figures were "stubbier" than traditional anime. But I still enjoyed the movie. I haven't seen it in a long time so I forgot the character's name but I liked the robot police detective.
