especially when you have been a good person all your life, not a liar, or a cheater, but everything seems to be going against you. Can't find a good man, trying to go to college and working my butt off to do it but finding between rent an car payments college is to expensive. Why is it possible someone could make to much money to get financial aid, but not enough to support themselves while living on their own or with FREAKY roomates. When will anyone get a break in this life. And why do some people have it soooooo easy?

Your life is what you make it!
If all one wants is to be waited on and are critical of others, that person will not have a good life.
If one tries to give more than they take, and I am not talking about money when I say that, they may fine their life will be happier.

There are many respected philosophers who theorize that this life here is precisely that - the hell we are told about. I could expound upon that but I don't think your question is really a philosophical one. I think you're bummed out and discouraged.

I have been through several periods in my life where things were going badly - really badly - for long periods of time. I too feel that I am a good person - a really good person. What I have found is that bad times never last - they always eventually turn around, even if the bad period is a long one. Life is hard, there's no getting around it.

I think that if you are a good person then that kharma will indeed come back around and give you good things and good times. The timing of it is a mystery, it seems. I am 48 and have some life experience... here's a trick that I use to get some good things going on for myself: Whenever things are going super badly I start doing really nice things for others - secretly and quietly, mind you - and this always spurs some good stuff to come along in fairly short order. It has always and without exception worked for me.

Many of the world's most ancient religions and philosophies would seem to back this up as a good method. For example, in Ecclisiastes in the Old Testament it speaks of "throwing your bread upon the waters" and in 10 days it will come back to you. It has always come back to me. As an experiment you can try giving some money to a charity or someone in need - secretly - even if you feel you can't afford it, and watch: mark it on your calendar and watch something wonderful come back to you within 10 days.

I also believe that our thoughts are actual energy and by thinking very good and happy thoughts during bad times you can often "bring" good things to yourself. This can be difficult to do, but it's too easy to perpetuate bad times when we just think bad thoughts during the bad times. This works because the energy of the Universe is always "listening", so to speak. I think this is why "prayers" work.

Good luck and don't be too discouraged - I promise you things will get better!

Don't worry, you are not alone thinking this might be hell. I have been in similar circumstance, and everything has worked out pretty well, so far. The people who get it easy, really fall hard when they lose it. They usually didn't appreciate it anyways, til it was gone.
Your get a chance to learn appreciation, before you lose. You will enjoy things more than them. That's a good life lesson.

You're a minority of those who actually take care of yourself. You will make it . Don't give up.
