Try taking some Benadryl before bed. It helps with allergies and a sunburn is an allergic reaction from the effects of the sun on your skin. I would also take a warm(not hot) Aveeno(oatmeal) bath before bed too and maybe a good lotion with cucumber and aloe to cool the skin. Good luck, hope it helps!

If you can find a mineral powder it works really well! They have it with make up but girls and guys use it. It's a new thing and it really gets the red out. One that works like wonders and in minutes is La Bella Donna Minerals. I got sunburned two days ago when we were in Hawaii for vacation and I used this you can't even tell!

i dont think anything will take the redness out but try aloe vera, that may work. next time wait 20 mintues before going into the sun after applying then reapply in a couple of hours.

Keep a cold press on it. In the morning wake up mix some foundation with moisturizer and get covering, add some powder and you are ready to go.
Sounds good in theory but it may just work.

noxema is the absloute best for removing the redness from the sun. use the original formula and put it on your face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. also, it feels great! it'll take the redness completely out too. if it doesn't fade it enough the first time, use it again for another 15 min until your satisfied with the results.
aloe vera is also another option, but i feel noxema is the BEST!!

My son got sunburnt really bad at a school carnival, he was so red it was horrible, I plastered him with the sap from aloe vera plant, and it was amazing, i could visually see the sunburn fade away within a few hours, i dont use anything else now, try it and you will be amazed.

wear a long sleeve shirt and put on a lot of makeup. get pure aloe vera and rub it in over and over and that will speed up the redness turning to a tan.

"Jessica" is right on the money, I have found Noxzema to be best in helping alleviate the burn. Also, make sure to hydrate, drinking lots and lots of water to keep your body cool and hydrated. Good luck and I hope you feel better.
