People tell me that I'm fine, I'm normal. But I never feel comfortable with myself and even though others say that I'm normal, I wish I could be a bit more fit and weigh less. I'm 15, 5'2 1/2", and about 116/117 pounds. My goal is about 105-110 pound range so I want to lose about 7-12 pounds. I'm willing to spend several months to get down to that weight but does anyone have any suggestions? I don't want to gain too much muscle (especially in my calves) since I have fairly large calves and I do want my thighs and calves to get thinner along with my arms. Exercise suggestions where I don't gain too much muscle? Food advice? Thanks.

Drink a TON of water. Dehydration can slow down metabolism by as much as 3%.

im just like that too!!!! heres the key-excercise and eat healthy.thats what every diet says. just eat healthy foods when ur hungry-stop whenur not. drink water and dont skip meals!!! if u skip a meal ur metabolism slows down! excercise for at least a half hour every morning-leg lifts crunches tredmill stretch. but dont worry ur fine

o nd u can have a dessert once in a while =o)

Muscle weighs more than fat, so do some physical labor, some walking, strength training, you could build upper body strength & lower body strength, you certainly don't want to lose your strength! Switch to organic foods where possible. At 15 years of age you need to be concerned with staying away from fast foods & junk food, as our body goes thru many changes growing toward maturity.

Eat fruit. Just fruit. Hell throw in a vegetable. That is it. No chips. No ice cream. No cookies. Exercise every other day. Personally I think you are being over dramatic, but maybe not cause I myself am 5'6 and i weigh 133 and I dare not go over 135Pd's.

just dont eat junk, & excercise that should put you in a healthy range. At 15 dont be too concerned, just make healthy choices, if you compare yourself to others you will never be happy, kwim? Maybe take up a sport, that should keep you fit :)

well im about 5ft and 6inches and weigh 127.
1) drink only water
2) the best thing to do is run PUSH YOURSELF
3) only have like one snack food a day
*if you need to snack more reach for a fruit or vegtable*
oh and i dont even follow these guidelines so you need to have willpower i dont!!

i lost weight real fast, here's my secret,
1) i don't eat breakfast, EAT LUNCH AND DINNER BUT 1 SERVING. IF UR HUNGRY AT NIGHT DRINK A GLASS OF MILK.
2) I REALLY DIDN'T DO EXERCISES ONLY 2 , SIT UPS 60 A DAY, 30 IN DA MORNING, 30 AT NIGHT
3) IF UR NOT HUNGRY, DON'T EAT, THAT HELPED ME ALOT,
P.S I USED TO WEIGHT 120 BUT NOW I WEIGHT 107, and DRINK lots of water

i have heard of this miracle weight loss solution that only takes 7 days. it's lemon juice, cayenne powder and maple syrup mixed into water. it's enzyme lemonade and it makes you lose 14 lbs. i read about it in a magazine in the grocery store. tell me if it works

Try drinking at least one glass of unsweetened grapefruit juice a day, it will burn fat. It really works for me.
