Israel is a theocracy. Quite different than an America that has Separation of Church and State as a basic right actually and formally in our Constitution.
So, Israel is very different than America in this most important principle. In fact, the need for a purity of the religious' population is an open understanding and agreement between the majority of Citizens in Israel.
Israel's policies was headed for the Jews being a minority population in Israel. So when the general public got this idea in their heads very clearly, Sharon was elected and the idea of annexing the West Bank and Gaza Strip were abandoned.
If Israel would have annexed all the occupied territories, the Palestinians would have been in a short time the majority population.
Sharon did not abandon the Gaza Strip for peace, he did it to maintain numerical superiority in the State of Israel.
Israeli political policy in the last few years has gotten us into the situation we are now living with a two front war by this change in policy which includes a Wall to divide the State of Israel for most of the Palestinian population and create a barrier.
However, some of the Palestinian have not agreed to this arrangement and are using rockets which go over walls to fight Israels new policy.
Israeli people know that rockets ruin their safety plans, so we have all out war to settle the issue.
Where is America? America is assisting Israel with money and technology at least and otherwise being greatful for the world's attention shift away from Iraq.

US helps Israel because they are the only people worth helping in the ME. For religious and political reasons. Whether it's just or not. They claim they don't tolerate terrorism and don't negotiate with terrorists yet, give Israel a green light to terrorizing all the citizens of Lebanon and call it "self defence" when they are the aggressors. Israel has great influence over U.S. policy which has made the Arabs despise this biased policy. Pray for peace, if things get worse more people will die on both sides and Americans will soon be sent to die for Israel.

The only reason is because the USA needs a friend in that area.
They have been bribing Israel with money and nuclear weapons for decades.
Well and also because there are so many Jews living in the USA.
It's politically "a good move" when fishing for votes (well not that it matters so much anymore since these days the elections are rigged in the USA )

We, along with some help of the UN, helped get Israel established.
But this war is between the Jews and the Arabs. I doubt anything that we say to either side will stop um. This has been goin on for a long time and will go on for a longtime.

Israel has the most experience of any country in dealing with terrorism and the U.S. Helps them because Israel gives the U.S. a lot of information on terrorists and have helped foil several attacks on both the U.S. and our allies.

We help Israel because it is the Holy Land. It's our job to protect that. Gods already shown us thru a series of natural disasters what he can do if we aren't careful. And personally, I'd recommend putting the 10 Commandments back in the courtroom and prayer back in schools.

God ,the father of Christ Jesus, gave to his friend abram a promise, and the country of abraham was promised to be his forever. That Promised Land was named after his grandson Isreal (originally named Jacob) . Because Abram erred and begat a son by his wife's maid, ishmael was given a promise: that he would be a thorn in the flesh to Isaac till the end of time. We Christians in the u.s.a. defend isreal's right to exist. 12 yrs ago we defended kosovo's right to exist( it is a muslim country), 3 years ago we defended Iraq's right to exist , but as a free country not owned by a tyrant.. We could have saved a lot of money , time, and american lives and just nuked the whole lot of them.. But we value life, love, liberty, freedom.. things that islam does not understand and that the devil hates.. so we do it the hard way till we have no alternative..

we created israel .so why do you question our motives in supporting them . its a long standing relationship of taking money from the nazi's and giving it back to the bankers and jews that ruled europe for so long .
