When was the last time you stood outside a convenience stores and bought cigarettes for teenagers?
I was wondering if any schools would be willing to start a program where you get free cigarettes for good grades.
Or also, maybe we could have some signs that say "We DON'T card, under 18 - no problem!"

Other ideas are more than welcome.

Very easy. Pay all script writers of childrens/teen's movies to have the stars look very glamorus smoking, convey the idea that smoking is very adult, very sophisitcated. (just a minute, I have to light up).........Have very butch figures with horses smoking a certain brand, give sample packs (5 cigarettes in the pack) with matching matches to the kids on the play ground, institute smoking rooms in high school, Run ads in all the teen magazines with the teen idols lighting up and talking about the cool, refreshing full bodied taste of........
Wait....sorry, this has all been done. Let me think about this for another 7 minutes (don't want to waste the cigarette I just lit) and I will get back to you.
And, by the way, a pompous Brit (I think) was just asking yesterday why Americans didn't understand sarcasm...I argued with him. I owe him an apology, judging from some of these answers above.

I have an idea. Why don't we cut out the smoking, the emphysema, the lung cancer, the cancer spreading to other parts of the body and just simply put a gun in their mouth and pull the trigger. Much quicker and simpler. I know that the MTV generation is all into the instant gratification thing so this is certainly what they would want.

Now that is just silly, They shouldn't be selling cigs to minors. I am a smoker but I am also over 18 and can make that choice. I have never bought cigs for minors and never will. There is a good reason they don't sell cigs to minor and it should stay that way

You don't want to smoke, it does nothing for you except ruin your health.

Don't even try it, you might like it and get hooked, it's really not worth it.
