Do they really think that they're getting a point across when they are "yelling" their question or answer?
Or do they just have some serious issues that they should be discussing with a therapist, instead of playing around on a website?

They're just people who don't know how to type, that's all. It's easier to put on the caps and SHOUT at everyone than to leave it on all lower case.
Frankly, it's the mis-use (or elimination altogether) of punctuation that bugs me more. I detest run-on sentences and just won't read them it I see them.

I work in an office that uses computers. It is set up that all our information must be put in in capitol letters. Just habit. Sorry it irritates people so much. I had no idea. Anyway, I like the caps. For me, it is easier to read.

I don't much admire it myself, but I'd like to point out that it was your use of 'ALL CAPS' that caught my attention in the first place, and you could probably say the same for a lot of the people who are answering this...

When they cap lock people notice them and much less to the non cap people

Because that is silent screaming or they are trying to be emphatic. Ever see a an angry deaf person? Their hands get really busy.

My guess is they have to compensate for their mediocre answers by using caps.
It's just a theory.
