I skip over any answer that is longer than half a screen, but it still annoys me to scroll down.

On top of a limit for the answer length, I think there should be a length for the question.

I can sympathize with you -- it is annoying to find an answer that's several screens long -- especially if it's a rant of some kind -- but there are some questions that really need a detailed and informative answer. And for the sake of those folk, Y!A shouldn't impose limits on the length of answers.

Cutting and pasting is such a cop out. I agree, it is very annoying. But, I must admit, that in serious matters, my answers can get long...takes time to give all the info.
