Pain in muscles follow from R side head (ache), down neck to the shoulder and from top to bottom of the shoulder blade. Heat, ice, rubs, ibuprofen, naps, dark room, complete silence, and EVEN xanax isn't working. My second day having this. PLEEEASE only serious answers only.

Advil usually helps. You might have a muscle spasm.Try to put a tennis ball by a shoulder blade and stand against the wall and press for a few second,then repeat it again. I have a tennis ball in my car and at home. It does help. And also, you can consult a Chiropractor. You might need an adjustment.

Sounds like the bad migraines I get. I get terrible neck pain with it. Not to depress you but sometimes nothing but time eventually kills it. Is this your first? Or do you have a history? If it continues another day or so I'd contact a doc. Also Excedrin Migraine works majority of time for me. I tried all the Rx migraine meds but didn't wokrk.

Temporal artiritis is a desease of the small arteries that can occur with these symptoms. If you have also view impairment from the right side as well you might check it out

Turn off your computer, grab your purse and head for your doctor's office. One-sided headaches can be serious symptoms, and the extension down your neck into the shoulder doesn't sound very good either. PLEASE - go get help. Today.

This is routine case for a chiropractor.. That restricted motion to the one side, is part of the causative factor.

Have you consulted your MD. Brain tumors have been known for this. They could do a CT, to check things out. Good Luck

You may have injured your rotator cuff. Better go to a doctor to have it checked out.
