It all depends on your height and also if your big boned or small boned! The way to figure out your bone structure is wrap your thumb and pinky around your wrist and if u can touch the thumb to the pinky u r small boned if not u r medium or big boned! When I was 12- well lets not use me cuz Ive always been short and small! Thats how I got my knick name tinkerbell! lol Each person is different in size and shape! 12 is NOT the way you will stay forever! You will be growing all over the place for the next 6 or 7 years and changing so much u will not even recognize yourself! If u want to watch your weight try drinking alot of water or sugar free drinks such as Crystal Light kool aid. Try substituting all the candy and chips for little rewards at the end of each weeks. Eat more pretzels- licorice-jelly beans and cheese crackers they r all fat free! Try walking more than u ride! If there r stairs- take them not an elevatyor! Walk around the neighborhood and bike riding helops alot! Good luck to u! Love yourself for exactly who u are!

Every person's body is different...so you can't really say what a normal weight is. Ask your doctor for a range.

More importantly, don't tell your child that she needs to lose weight....you'll do more damage to her psychologically than her weight will do to her physically.

Don't forget your responsibility in this. As her parent, it's your responsibility to teach her to be healthy (healthy...not skinny...or normal). You should be presenting her with healthy choices to eat.

Also, a lot of kids have baby fat...when she turns 14 or 15 she'll reach a growth spurt, and probably thin up.

Remember....if you don't teach her proper nutrition, how will she learn it?

One hour of exercise every day is a good way to keep the body healthy. Forget the numbers, is she healthy I read somewhere that an average person should take 10,000 steps a day to good health try getting her a pedometer ( if she falls short on walking enough) maybe you can encourage her by talking a walk outside as a family. Good diet and sleep is also important. Eliminate sugary sodas and food products from her diet it will make a MAJOR difference and don't push it.

there is no normal weight during puberty years. She should not lose weight. When she is over 18 then she can lose weight because she will be done growing by then. Anything else can significantly ruin her growth

Normal? No idea. Average? 94 pounds. Average height would be 60 and a half inches.

How do you lose weight? Eat less. Exercise more. Cut down on big macs and chocolate and eat healthy.
