I'm at a crossroads in my life right now. I've taught school for six years now and we've just recently started a small business of concession rentals, and soon will be getting into chocolate and punch fountains rentals. My husband has a job that he will still keep for a while. Sending this question out in the void of people who don't know me, it will be refreshing to get different perspectives. Thank-you for your thoughts!

I've taught for over 20 years and I love it. The real question to ask is "Do I love teaching?" And I mean to really love it... love the kids, love the grading, love the school, love the profession, love it all. Like you, I was also at the same crossroad... I went into business. After four years, I was ready to go back to the profession I loved. Would you love working in the concession rentals business... really enjoy it and love what you do? I'd recommend letting your heart rule on the question. The mind might tell you which one is financially better, but your heart keeps you honest and grounded and healthy. Good luck on your decision.
