Because the skin is ticker and stronger in that area as it is on the palm of your feet.
Fr exmaple if you get a tattoo on that area it would erase with the time or at least loss a lot of color

the skin on the palm of ur hands thicker than almost anywhere else on your body. Also u need cells to burn to get a tan and there arent as many cells on ur palm either,hope that helped ya

because they are not exposed to sunlight alot. If you have ever seen the soles of the feet or the palms of the hands on a black man. they are white because the darker skin colour is caused by melonin which is a substance to help portect your body from UV Rays from the sun. Thats why in place like africa the natives' skin colour is black for the natural surroundings as in Northern Europe they dont need the melonin due to the climate in which we live.

you can if you use fake tan and forget to wash your hands.... very attractive
