Back in the day it was considered taboo and even dangerous for a person to touch themselves in anyway that could be considered sexual. A person could have been considered a pervert or even mentally ill for admitting to something like that. However today it is not so looked down on other then in some religious communities. I would not suggest you discuss it with everyone but do not be ashamed of it either. Masturbation is a natural human thing to do. You should know what kind of touches you like so that you can tell your partner.

No one ever said that it was wrong or that you can't admit that you masturbate. It's just that a majority of us women in this forum don't give a crap if you do! Why in the world would I want to discuss masturbation with some nameless, faceless person that I don't know? If you want to embrace your sexuality, you can most likely find another forum filled with people of like minds.

I don't think that its wrong, I do it all the time. only because its fun and some times I just like a "quickie" and not all the work it takes to be with my BF. I think that women don't really admit to it because men get to hot and bothered by the Idea.

Some are confortable with their bodies and sexuality and some are not. I for one consider it necessary and feel no guilt whatsoever.
