It all depends on the severity of the OCD and your mind set to control it.

You have to use your logical thinking mind and NOT your emotional mind.

Other wise go to a psych Dr.

no you can't. there is OCD which is a chemical imbalance. and obsessive personality disorder which is usually caused by screwed up childhood or what ever. OCD which is the compulsive handwashing, doing things ritualistically needs meds etc and cannot be cured. personality type needs therapy and meds and will be modified long term if you deal with the underlying issues.

It's hard, pershaps, even impossible. Sometimes the person don't even know he /she has it. it takes friend or family member to recognize it. Therapists would be a great help though.

No, not really. Zoloft is most commonly presribed now for treating OCD.
