U are online now, are u wasting your time? U are walking now, are u wasting your time? U are eating now, are u wasting your time?... There is no standard to see whether a person is wasting time or not, all depends on what is he doing and why he is doinf the thing. If what he is doing is with a purpose, then it is not wasting time.
So why are u answering question? Nothing to do? Bored? Then u are wasting your time, as u ca ndo better things to enhave yourself instead of wasting your time in answering quesitons.
But for many people, they are answering people's questions to help and advice them. When people having problems in their life and seeking for help, we should give a helping hand if we can. By answering and asking questions, we also can learn things. So do u think this is wasting time?
Hope i have answered your quesion and hope u are not wasting your time

There is a fine line between 'wasting' and 'spending', depending of the perceptions.
We are all 'loner' in a hide-away closet somewhere in our souls. We WANT to participate, we WANT to have our voices heard. When we think the 'Askers' are the ones in need, think again, the 'Answerers' are in need too. So there is an intertwining relationship knitted in here. Each role feeding into each needs.
Some may really want to 'waste' the excess time, while some look forward to 'spend' some time nursing their own needs. What's yours?

It's fun for me. It gets me out of myself. Instead of stuffing all the things you know, I prefer to release it all out and may be my aged mind can be flushed and renewed with new informations. I knew quite a few people who are so smart, yet, so stupid to take care of themselves. They do not want to share infomrtion they know. sometimes it's almost like they are feeling inferior towards you. And then there are those that just want to take advantage of your of your knowledge without any considerations for you. I don't feel I'm wasting my time at all. I have all the time in the world to help people who need help instead of trying to take advantage of others or having to stuff my knowledge and die with it. If I can make a difference in a person's life, then that's all God wants of me. So thank oyu for asking that question.

Because I have nothing better to do, why are you wasting your time posting questions?

Because by answering people's questions, I am helping people. Since helping people makes me happy, I answer people's questions to make me happy. Unlike Dr. Phil who answers people's questions to make money and be on national television.
