Try contacting Kingston upon Hull (UK) Whaling and fishing museum. They have a vast array of books, tapes, pictures and information about all types of trawlers and fishing vessels. I am sure they could help you.

There is an outfit in Orkney or Shetland sells DVD-videos "At the fishing" Shall try to find address before your question ends.

You could record or buy on DVD the show on the 'Discovery Channel' called 'Dangerous Catch' (I think that's the name of it).It,s all about commercial fishermen and what they have to do.I have never watched it but have seen it advertised.
