Assuming you have a drill....

Go to the local Home Supply Store / Lumber Yard, Get 2 even pieces of Nice Hardwood (about 2" x 6" and 3/4" thick) and a couple hole saws (drill bits).

Go home, drill a hole in 1/2 of one of the boards and about 1/4 the other (if you want to be more precise than that, your choice) polish it up with a nice stain or paint to match the bat (or offset it, your choice). Hang on the wall, place bat in grooves.

as a results of fact they are less difficult to wield as weapons than cricket bats. The business enterprise end of a cricket bat is flattened and narrow. That makes it good for outstanding a ball, yet no longer a individual. you greater often than not sense you're able to desire to be concerned approximately adjusting the cricket bat on your hand so which you would be able to hit the zombie, or in spite of, only precise. Baseball bats are less difficult and function a around pass-area, so there is far less to think of roughly on a similar time as swinging for that chav's head.

You could easly use 2 screws (or nails) with a little felt, to protect the bat, on the inside. It works and it's cheap...when its hanging on the wall you don't notice the nails...people only look at the bat.

Go to a Sporting Goods store and buy a rack that holds a rifle or shotgun. And while you're there you may ask if they have one for a bat.

I don't know about what is sold in sport stores, but you could use what is used to hang brooms and mops on. You just push it in it and it stays hanging in a closet. I don't remember the name of it, though!

I don't know the name of any one that sells fixtures to stores. That would be the ones to talk too.
