I don't want to receive e-mails from Answers! every time someone answers one of my questions, when I ask a question, when one of my inane questions/answers are inevitably deleted, etc. How can I turn this off? I'd appreciate a few serious answers to this one. Thanks.

Ahh, many thanks. I've looked all throughout my profile and couldn't find it. I've checked several times, but admittedly, I have NOT checked for a notification button when posting questions and answers. Thanks again, folks.

when you ask the question
there will be a place where you can check or uncheck if you want the answers sent to you
just uncheck it

When your writting a question at the bottom there is a box that is prechecked.
would you like to recieve emails everytime someone answers your questions.
Uncheck the box.

Whoa, that is a setting that you check when you first ASK the question.
Always LOG into ANSWERS and check your Q&A section to see the responses, so you don't get any e-mail.
Gosh, I hope that you don't get too much e-mail from that. Lots of lame questions get hundreds of responses.

Hit the "My Q&A" button on the top right of your screen, then go to the bottom of your profile and click on "Edit my profile". From there, scroll down, and change your preferences in "Email" area. That's all there is to it! :)
