i am a user of natural remedies but have to tell you that a recent study, for which i cant remember any links, (which is not helpful) found it to be merely a placebo. If this works for you then thats fine. Lavender, roman chamomile, rose and similar essential oils can be used on a tissue to inhale or 3 drops mixed in a little milk added to your bath water for a similar and proven effect. If you are thinking of using rescue remedy to get you through a particular event, I would reccomend something a little stronger. I know its not ideal, but very low dosage beta blockers used irregularly are perfectly ok and safe and most def do the job.

I've used it on driving tests and failed 10 of them lol....I've got number 11 tomorrow and am planning to blag it with no rescue remedy...seeing if that works. You're meant to use a couple of drops on your tongue. Some people think it works, I'm not so sure

It does work for me... Here is what my acupuncturist told me.

For "general anxiety" use one dropperful 2x a day (dropperful means just squeeze the bulb and use whatever comes up when you release it.) You can put it under your tongue or put it in some water and drink it.

Because it is safe to use all the time you can also use a dropperful for when you start to feel anxious or panicked and you should feel calmer in about 10 minutes.

I use Rescue Remedy. I put about 3 drops on my skin on my forearm/wrist area and rub it in with my other wrist. Helped me on long plane trips and helps me during stressful events (I put some on before I leave the house).
