To correct a couple of the answers you've received. Ford DID produce a Futura in 1963, basically a dressed up Falcon. And, they were 4 lug for the six cylinder model but Ford introduced the 260 V8 into the Falcon/Ranchero line and they came with 5 lug wheels. I don't know if the part's you want to interchange will work. I didn't mess with them after the 63's.

Ford commonly used both 4 and 5 bolt wheels on the same car model depending on what engine the car had. I once almost bought a Mustang with a 429 under the hood until I discovered it had only four lug nuts on the wheels. That meant it originally had a 6 cylinder in it. So the Comet and Falcon could have 4 or 5 lug brake drums.
The drum brakes on the '72 Mercury Comet will fit on the a '63 Ford Falcon just fine. The part numbers for the brake drums, etc. for both are identical.

Scott N, please do some research and come back later. You don't know enough to be answering questions here. mICHAEL, you need to be more specific. Are you talking about the entire drum brake system, or are you talking about brake drums? It is possible, but doubtful, that many, if any of the brake parts are interchangeable. They are completely different cars. You would have to be absolutely positive before you try to interchange them. Brakes are bad things to play with if you don't know what parts fit.
