We have already called the E.R. and they think that we aren't serious. He has tried to blow his nose to get it out and even tried using his fingers. What should we do now?

Keep him away from any microwave ovens. Stuff with dirt, fertilize, keep moist and lots of Sun light. Should grow righto ut of there with kernals to spare.
Seriously now, Don't use tweezers. You can rupture the membrane. Go to E.R., and when they ask why? Tell them that you thought it was better than snorting coke, at least not as addictive.

Get to the ER, this kernel can get lodged into his lung, and you will have some serious problems on your hand.This prank was really NOT a smart thing to do. I hope you learn your lesson about possible consequences before pulling anymore pranks.

I'm keeping my mouth shut about what first popped into my head while reading your question, but you are really going to have to go to, not call, the ER. Or to an ear nose & throat doctor. Out of curiousity, how old are you?
