You can unless you have the old .exe for it someone in ur computer. Otherwise, the only way to do it is do a system restore for before the time you got the beta version. Good Luck!

I'd look inside the folder where your downloaded programs go. Some people create their own download folder and direct such to it, and go one better: rename the download into something more recognizable.

This way, if they don't like the updated "beta" version of a program, they can delete it and go back to the older version of the same program.

But even if you haven't done this, the download of the older YM program is likely in your DOWNLOADS file, under PROGRAM FILES: you just got to do some searching for it.

yep, I agree! I even complained to yahoo, the new one installed a bunch of stuff I didn't want even after I declined. the first one is a good answer though, uninstall, download the old version and re-install.

just go to add remove programs in the control panel, then remove yahoo messenger beta
then go to messenger.yahoo.com and install the old one

At the top theres a switch back site just click it,you;ll go right back.
