Since vampires only exist in fiction you can't become a vampire.A vampire was first written about in Bram Stokears' Dracula. Just sucking blood , wearing black do not make you a vampire although some people will do this and be delusional in thinking that they are vampyr. According to fiction lore one becomes a vampire when one is bitten by another vampire but the vampire but the vampire does not drink all of your blood and then the vampire has you drinking his/her blood(this has to occur for there is a blood carried virus in his/her blood that kills off the human corpuscles and the virus infected blood takes over. A vampire does not die a after so many year death-no biological clock to run out but can be killed by a stake through the heart, exposure to sunlight and by fire. A vampire also must return and rest in the the dirt of his native region-where he was when he was bitten(made).Since sunlight destroys th evampire they will rest in this dirt during the day and then prowl and live during the night-this dirt re-energizes the vampire.Vampires have powers beyond a human's ability-heightened senses, move, travel by thought, fly ,hear human thought and so on.In order to live, since a vampire soes not drink or eat9after the human drinks the vampyr blood infectd by the virus-the human organs, blood etc die replaced by the vampyr virus infected blood)
but now in order to live needs to drink blood. The vampyr can live on animal blood but will sustain life and not heighten the senses or enable the vampire to develop his /her powers for only human blood has the rich nutrients that;s required. Please don't try this at home. Against the law to kill animal and asault to get blood will get you into jail. Then too consider all the blood borne diseases.Aids, Hepatitis C , Syphyllus and so on.

Actually, in college I had the opportunity to become a vampire but I turned it down. You see, I was dating a girl who, as it turns out, was a vampire.

It took me several months to come to this realization for I was fixated on her limitless beauty and infinite wisdom. Her skin was as pale as the flesh of a lychee glowing in the moonlight for she refused to be seen by daylight.

She took classes in the evening and slept by day. The only times I saw her outdoors in the dawn were when it was raining. She loved the rain. She had a large collection of trench coats and umbrellas. Under her coat she wore the most lovely skirts. I always got a kick out of seeing her wear a skirt with boots. (not literally)

I loved her. When she was ill I would tend to her. When she was sad I would comfort her. The realization that she was a vampire momentarily stopped my heart as I was overcome by respect and fear.

In the end, I decided to break it off. I don't think that I am cut out to be a vampire. Perhaps I had the opportunity but I have yet to regret my decision.

So, to become a vampire you must first meet a vampire.

When a person is self-centred to a level, thinks blood relations and friends are not required, importance of money is taken to a level where grabbing others is not a sin and ready to harm and even kill for the sake of fame, money, recognition in society, he becomes a vampire. One need not have to kill a person or drink the blood of another to be called a vampire. One who follows the path of deceit, cheat kith and kin, harms friends, takes a pleasure out of that,
is a vampire.

Believe in fairy tales. Drink someone's blood. Learn to do it by biting them and sucking it out. Die. Come back to life. Turn into a bat. Fly around. I guess you sleep during the day, but have to decide whether you want to be a bat or a vampire when you get up at night. Sometimes both.

If one becomes a vampire, that person must realize what they would be giving up. Sunshine on snow, mid day lunches in the garden with friends, most of their friends
- who would be sleeping, no more Italian food - too much garlic, garlic bread - and croutons in salad, and many, many more truly good things. Would that be worth it to you??? Moonlight is lovely, but so is a real life.

Get bit by one.

Or be born with/developed (see below)

Vampirisim is being hyper allergic to UV light and garlic compounds.
When your body can only take nutrition out of the acids in blood. You would not get stronger or gain magic or any of that nonsense.
Scientifically vampirisim would suck. Supernaturally you would still be all of the above but at least you would gain a bunch of cool talents and strengths.

I think that vampires exist but they hide in deep shadows.it's hard to find one.but don't worry if it is to be so. than you will find one...don't search for them.. let them search you...good luck(and if you succeed please contact me cause I want to know them)be careful!!! kiss ya... oh and don't forget to become a vampire is not just to be bitten by one.. you have to pass a test of them,to become one of them, after you have been bitten you have to get blood.(usually just a bit) than the creator will put you into a coffin made by rock or metal.to pass the test you have to break the coffin and only after that you will get the blood.and i have heard that vampires transform only beautiful creatures..(that's why in reality you can not find an ugly vampire)oh and one other thing :it hurts(to be bitten)

a romantic notion that really has no basis in fact

character (Lestat) its literature

you read it to escape

I suppose after some people put the book down
they don't want it to end

You go out in the middle of the night, find a vampire and ask him or her to bite your neck and suck your blood out. That should do it.
