It perfectly normal to masturbate at your age and wonder how often and if it healthy. It is healthy for men to masturbate in a few ways. One, masturbation reduces stress in a man. Two masturbation and ejaculation reduces the risk of men getting prostate cancer later in life. Third thing is that masturbation and ejaculating is good and healthy for a man to do. This will get rid of the old sperm in your body and make room so new sperm can be created and stored in you. It always nice to have fresh sperm stored in your body. I am 20 and single and masturbate myself. It normal for men of all ages after entering puberty to masturbate all thier life. Nothing negative about it unless it interfering with your normal everyday life.

Masturbation is perfectly normal and at your age 2-5 times a day isn't unusual. In fact, most men continue to masturbate regularly even after they enter stable relationships and throughout their lives.

Interesting that a woman apparently posted the only negative (and incorrect) note here. No medical body considers masturbation to be abnormal. It is not linked to any disease or sexual dysfunction.

If you are circumcized, lubricant is a good idea. Frequent masterbation may damage the head of the penis, which can result in inflamation and pain. However, if you stop for a few days, this will normally clear up on it's own.

If you are lucky enough NOT to be circumcized, the foreskin acts as a natural lubricant, and you do not need anything else. Pre-ejaculate also helps with lubrication. Uncircumcized men have around 14 square inches of extra nerve endings in their foreskin, which heightens sensation. If you are one of the 40% of boys who are now not mutilated at birth by their parents, consider yourself lucky - you are going to have SO much more fun than circumcized men!

at the age of 14 exploring sex and masturbation is normal. when you grow older then masturbation will reduce. but try not to over do masturbation of more then 4 times a week. you kill lots of cells in the body.

It's perfectly normal, despite what anyone else says, for you to pleasure yourself on a regular basis. Just make sure you keep it lubed so as not to make yourself raw. Saliva works just fine if nothing else is available.
Please don't feel like you're doing something wrong. When you go back to school, look around your class... everyone there (even your teacher) masterbates weather they admit it or not. It's perfectly normal.

There's no limitation as to how frequent do you have to masturbate as long as you can handle it and have the urge to do it, why not. It's perfectly safe and healthy as long as you do it in private.

Whoever said it prevents prostate cancer has no clue what they are talking about. It is normal, and I consider it a bodily function just like urinating.

It's normal to do this and won't harm you unless you are being unduly rough with it.

I heard that your penis will get shorter and it may stunt your growth on it, better stop it now.
