Yes, I think so. Wasn't this the Lynda La Plante series about demobbed soldiers trying to make it in civilian life, but they are so badly suited for it that they get sucked into crime and, in the end, the main character commits suicide?
Jason Isaacs starred (who later went on to play the baddy in "The Patriot" and Lucius Malfoy in the Harry Potter films).
I haven't seen whether it's on video or DVD, but to be honest I haven't looked.

Was a pretty crap programme . So probably not made it to DVD
