Most counties have a sex offender registry. That is a good place to start. Other than that it is really hard to say. In a lot of cases a pedifiler is usually someone who is greatly trusted. They are usually the last person you would expect, a family member or close friend. My best advice is to monitor your child or children very closely and ask them if the person in question has done anything to make them feel uncomfortable. That is the scary thing about pedifiles, they appear to be normal everyday people. For five years I lived in a condo above a guy who was pedafile. He appeared to be one of the nicest guys in the world. You can imagine how surprised I was two years after moving when I saw him and his brother appear on the Eyewitness News being taken away in handcuffs on charges of child pornography. Be careful. It is a crazy world out there. As it turned his brother was already registered as a sex offender. So be sure to start by checking your local sex offender registry. It gives out addresses and everything. Good luck.

If a person's tone of voice feels like it 'gets under your skin', then that person is a pedophile.
