Honestly, I'm not sure. But as of movies, they do sound the same. Like me, if you take the time to hear the sirens properly you can probably figure if it's an Ambulance or Fire & Rescue truck coming. I live in Canada and they don't sound the same at all.

No. European sirens are typically different than those used in the U.S.
