Yes. People are correct in advising you to use toothpaste. But don't wipe in circles. It even says on most CD cases the proper way to clean a CD is to wipe from the inside out. Start in the centre and wipe outward toward the outside edge.

toothpaste works good. you rub it on your cd and wipe it off with a washcloth,towel, etc. Or you use peanut butter instead, after you put the peanut butter on the cd you wipe it off with a coffee filter.

toothpaste works miracles on my scratched cds.
dont use the gritty kind though, smooth kind works best, smooth Peanut butter works well also

toothpaste. rub it on in small circles, wipe off, and clean with water. this is the 3rd time i've seen this question
