This Brian is a common condition. He is a bit like termites and needs an exterminator. A baby Brian probably got into your house on a shoe or in a bag then found a place to grow. He will eventually die anyway but don't feed him and this will speed things up. Around 17% of houses in the developed world have this problem at one time or another but it is generally (like Brian) brushed under the carpet. The problem is much worse in the developing world wher a staggering 78% of houses have Brian. In those places he is ofcourse counted as a tropical infestation.

he comes from habitual use of midly hallucinogenic substances such as "skunk" form of cannabis, LSD derivatives (pills) or progressive mental ill health.
The "food and smells", (hunger and heighten senses) suggest stong cannabis rather than genuine mental health issues, though the two may become one, if you are tok' ing at the moment, and you feel the comment makes sense, and this "recreational" activity becomes habitual. From food and smells, rather than for, suggests this is the case. I suggest the company of real people may be beneficial, But obviously I will withdraw these comments, should I read in news of the world, "man slain in frenzied knife attack, by escaped lunatic, hiding under bed". All else failing, having ensured you have not ingested any substances, know to cause mind altering effects, you could seek the help of your local council, or solicitor, regarding an eviction notice. You may try suggesting he sleeps in the garden, or shed, as an intermediate measure.
