I like the original Superman the movie with Christopher Reeve the best. I like that best because it shows how Supermans Kryptonian parents cared for him and guided him through his life even after their deaths. Their wisdom in sending him to Earth and why. His mom was concerned like an Earth mom..he won't be one of them. Jor-el said he'll look like them. She said he'll be alone, and Jor-el said...He'll NEVER be alone. That really touched me. I liked how it showed how the Kents raised him and their influence on molding Clark into becoming Superman. Remember when Clark wanted to join the football team...he said he could score a touchdown every time. John Kent told him, "Son, you are here for a reason. I don't know who's reason or what the reason is, but I do know this...it is not to score touchdowns." I loved that. How both sets of his parents molded him into becoming Superman. This is an important lesson for ALL parents out there. GUIDE YOUR CHILDREN IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION. Imagine if Kal-El would have been found by Lex Luthor. Think about that. How would he have grown up then? I like how the film showed how Clark had to sacrifice things in his life, like his love for Lois, to serve man with his abilities, until finally he could take no more and turned back time to save Lois...he defied Jor-el and by doing so the film showed what happens when you break one of the ten commandments...even if you are not an Earthling....by saving Lois she was alive in Superman II and by saving her from the explosion released the three criminals from the Phantom Zone. I could go on and on but have no more time..you get the point. There are so many great things in Superman...it is one level a great kids film...but on another whole level has very deep meanings and messages.
My answer is Superman 1 because of the excellent writing, story telling, and profound insight.

3rd. If I remember right. The one where the guy takes the fraction of a cent and puts it into a seperate account. Y? cause I would like to do that and then after a few years never have to work again. Just kidding I would never do that. But I can dream cant I.

I agree. Superman 2 is my favorite.
I like the three black cladded villians ( played by Terrence Stamp, Sarah Douglas & Jack O'Halloran).
I like the many conflict scences especially the final battle.
