Same advice for any gender: Find someone you like (or
at least can stand) but are not madly in love with and invite
them to go some place low key (coffee, lunch, etc.)
If that goes well, try something a little more intense, perhaps
with that person, perhaps with someone else.
Why not start out with the one who leaves you starry eyed?
Well, dating is a skill and the pressure you put on yourself
to get it right the first time is so intense you'll probably screw
it up and just make things worse.
Well, maybe thats overstretching a little, but why not have
some confidence before you sit down with the local
sex diety?
You may discover that the low-key date with the person
you didn't want to spend the rest of your life with actually
buds into something worth while, or it may not. The point
is that it won't be the most important,
crucial oh-my-God-I'll-die-if-this-goes-wrong event and
you might actually be able to enjoy it and gain some confidence.
Confidence generally makes either gender sexier.

Evidently, you're at a girl very pre-teen young age to ask this question. Don't so much focus on having a boyfriend, but how to prepare yourself for WHEN you have a boyfriend. Ask yourself what would you do when a situation arose between you and he.
Intellegent thinking about how to handle such events now can save you confusing grief down the road ahead; and try to spare yourself from "pop-psychology" from your girlfriends who want to play "expert" on how to handle boys.
As for finding a boyfriend, just keep being a girl--in time, the rest will naturally happen: trust me.
Oh.....and while we're on the subject of boys: do remember, they too have feelings and wouldn't like being played head games any more than you would. Never forget that.
You'll kiss plenty of frogs till you find your prince, too: you may feel what is LIKE love; but that doesn't come till years later---about the time you exit your teen years.

Here are the steps:
1. Find a boy you like (be real careful on this one)
2. Get to know him better. Go up and talk to him. Think of questions to ask him. See if he seems interested in talking.
3. If he seems interested in talking, ask him to go have a cup of coffee together. if he says yes, great! if he doesn't seem too interested then go back to step 1.
4. don't forget to have plenty of friends of your own gender. same steps can apply towards building these kinds of friendships too.
Some more tips...
1. be a cheerful person.
2. be honest
3. smile alot
4. forget what you look like - it doesn't matter - stop reading magazines that focus on appearances
5. don't put all your hopes into one relationship. instead, have lots of friends - 3 to 6 is a good number
6. be kind and gracious and forgiving - friendships and relationships are hard enough
7. be persistent at it. don't give up.

Hun, dont go looking for love. The best way is to usually let it come to u. You'll meet sumbody when the timing is right. Im not saying dont try to meet people. Because obviously meeting people is how it happens. But what i mean is dont go out with the intention of finding a boyfriend. Let it all come to u and it will in time.

Be your princess self and don't wait for a prince to come. There are too many fish in the sea to wait for just one to come to you. Let me put it this way... You're waiting for Mr. Right... when someone comes along you're so excited you think he's Mr. Right even if he's wrong. The world is really your ocean.. You have to fish the good ones out so to speak. Don't just wait for them... you shold take your choice. :)

Not on here. If you want a boyfriend, let the boys see you and let them know if you are interested in them. Don't pursue them, let them pursue you.
