The GERMANS followed a close second by the one when the County Health Inspector visits ( dead rat in water tank etc ) !!

Whichever one has the Major saying "they're vermin, Fawlty!" and of course, Basil thinks he's talking about Germans, but the Major meant Manuel's pet rat Basil. Too twisted and funny. I heard John Cleese just about had a nervous breakdown at the end of that series.

I'm going against the norm here - The Germans is a funny one, but the one for me is The Wedding followed closely by the one with Mrs Richards. Classic comedy! Always good for quoting......

I love every single one - I am always surprised that there was only 12 made - I bought them all on DVD, it is just a classic comedy and will never date - it was made in the 1970's and is still funny today - that is quite an achievement

The one about the Germans. It was funny how Basil kept bringing up the War although he kept reminding everyone else not to.

Seeing as so many ppl picked the Germans, I'll say the Fire Drill. I just love when he nearly "blows his head off" with the fire extinguisher LOL
Also the ep where he thrashes his car with a branch.

I can't possibly be that specific. The one where the moose head keeps falling on Basil is priceless though.
