Do Israelis have very high quality lives - as good as say britian, ireland and america?

Near as I can tell, they have all the modern conveniences we do in the USA. In fact, they pattern themselves after what has worked for us in this country (and others around the globe).
The differences are that they are very, very smart people generally. They are united by a single faith that is measured not by differences but by extremes of perspective on what it is/means to be Jewish. Their very lives depend on being right with their choices about how they run their country and defenses. Unlike our country.
In my humble opinion the Israelis are quite semetic and prejudiced against non Jews. They consider themselves a race alone. THE PEOPLE if you will. Everyone else is just chopped liver. I mean, they frequently hide all this rather well.
They have probubly been one of the most discriminated against races in the world and throughout history so to some extent, I personally can see their orientation and approach. I suspect this is the case cuz they are so unified, literate in the age old experiences of being Jews over millenia in a cruel and unforgiving world.
I can tell you one thing for sure. I would not want to be fighting against Israel or at odds with their focus.
Only world pressure will stop this military thang going on right now. The Israelis will let up when THEY decide the time is best suited for their own advantage. They will milk the situation for all it is worth and to their own advantage.
Have pitty for their enemies.

While there is definetly poverty in Israel (they are extremely supportive of immigration such as when they saved thousands of eithiopian jews and now with the russain jews flooding in) Israelis have somehow managed to make a huge amount of success in a really crappy land. The terorism is kiling a huge tourism agency and also lowers quality of life when so many are being killed but Israelis have ahigh quality of life. they are gods chosen people,that's as good as it gets. perhaps you are talking about western material things well if that's the case i know they make some of the best guns and bombs in the world,south Africa has some good stuff too,they have had many years to regret that i think,lets see security and religion is big in Israel. but ya they got the western goods and after the young ones get out of the military as their is a draft in effect their ,then the party goes on in televy,rock on and gods chosen few,god bless

No as they robed other of them homes, made them live in shitty awful tends with open sewers and made their lives unbearable whilst they gloated on the stolen land, the ones with their houses nicked had no money so were suseptable to reglious nuts saying were are rigth martyr your self and having nothing to loose and thoe only one who was nice to them were religious nuts...

They've worked very hard to have the lives they have. Even many American Jews have moved to Israel, so it certainly can't be that bad.
