I noticed a few posts that represent racism and think it is extremely sad in this day and age......

Racism, and bigotry of any kind exists because so many people are control freaks. They want every thing and every one to be just like them and I've noticed that it is mostly uneducated people who think they are smarter than everyone else that engage in it although there are a few hightly educated self centred people who discriminate against others for colour, intelligence, size, etc.
There will always be people like that and that is why we have wars. People should learn that everyone has feelings and we all bleed when we are injured. They should live and let live, tend to their own business and not try to run other people's lives.
To rogue3xmen13 no everyone is not a racist and everyone does not discriminate.

Racism is sad. It will always exist though because there will always be people who are uneducated, taught to hate by their parents, hurt by someone of another race so they start to judge all people of that race by one act. And what the heck is reverse racism, racism by definition is
The belief that race accounts for differences in human character or ability and that a particular race is superior to others.
Discrimination or prejudice based on race.
Just calling something reverse racism to me is a form racism.

you don't need to read the posts,that takes time. Just listen to the news every night to deeply understand how much racism still exists all around the world.

Racism has "been" around and will probably always "be" around because first of all, God continued to allow it and second; it all started long ago, not just between Blacks and Whites but between Jews and Gentiles back in the Bible days. So it will probably "stay" around until we all become mixed as one color or one race. Then there'll be no racism ;~)

If there was only one race there would be no racism. Unfortunately the master race has not yet cleansed the earth of all the vile scum that infects this planet. Yep, that's right - white people are lazy!

we'll never be rid of racism. and i honestly can't say why. I dunno what causes it. Ignorance, lack of education or tolerance...or perhaps all three. It's a sad day in age when people can't see past what's right infront of them and see deep into a person's character.
Pepole often see what they want to see, and nothing more. We must train ourselves to look deeper into not just other, but ourselves as well. I believe once we knoe ourselves, we'll know the world around us.

because people are ignorant and stupid. and are afraid of people that are different. i think your right it is so sad in this day and age that people think the way they do.it's sad but i think there will always be racism as long as people think the way they do.

if I am uncertain about myself, I will find something wrong about the other person, race, religion, disability, gender.
Racism is a sign of weakness. But not to be confused with an honest curiosity about our differences, which is OK.
