why is my gas milelage so crappy justbought a firebolt 12 series and after about a hundred miles my low fuel l

I was going pretty fast

In theory, Motorcycles can be good on gas. When commuting, my bikes use less than my Toyota. When screwing around on the weekend, I sometimes fill up 3 times a day.

Try a little less throttle and rpms.

Some fuel lights come on very early. Fill it up & check to see what it takes. Sometimes the fuel light can be decieving.

May be because you r throttle happy?
