Yes It will have but no human will be able to bring this about, history has proven this fact again and again, we are imperfect and selfish, and no government or group can bring about peace even with the best of intentions and efforts. Therefore we need to look to God's kingdom and hope in his kingdom for real satisfying long lasting peace. Consider some scriptures and prophecies in the Hebrew and Greek. Jeremiah 10:23, Ecclesiastes 8:9, Isaiah 2:4, Psalms 37:10-11 and 29 Matthew 6:10 Daniel 2:44

The world will never have peace. Has it ever had peace or been close to having peace. A war is happening every day not only with other people but with ourselves. We have to be able to control ourselves before we can make a world peace.

There are various things preventing world peace. Firstly, Islamic radicalists are jealous of the U.S. (and we all know we are the strongest country in the world) and basically hate anyone who isn't of their "religion." Also, its the islamic radicalists that are committing terrorist attacks, not russians, not australians, not argentians, not sweds, they are people from the middle east. So many people over there hate America and thank goodness bush decided to invade, or else sadaam hussen would still be committing geinocide and now evidence has come out that he really did have weapons of mass desruction, biological weapons, perfume he was planning to send to america for terroristic purposes (anyone w/ common sense could put two and two together 1) sadaam was one of the richest, sickest, and most powerful of the leaders of the world and 2) he hated america you don't need anymore evidence than that). Secondly, people need to stop wasting time and putting money in to things that don't matter, like one of the U.N.'s "major goals" and actually look to see that being dipolmatic isn't always the best, esp. after 9/11 and seeing the capabilities of terrorits.

Why do all the religious hohos gotta come out of the woodwork and say something in EVERY SINGLE QUESTION? I think you would have converted everyone who wants to be by now! Shouldn't yall be in church?

Anyway, peace is contrary to human nature. When you look at the chimpanzee, the closest human relative, they are almost constantly at war too. Alliances and enemies; that's what a good portion of our social structure is about. This tribe can assist us against this one. We want such-and-such land because there's a better growth of fruit trees for food. Hell, they even practice genocide; one tribe invaded the land of another and decided not ot just beat them, but kill every single one of them.

I defense of George Bush, hasn't the world always had wars and violence? It isn't a new thing just because islamic extremists are blowing up innocent people. George Bush didn't cause all of the worlds problems and if you think he did, well you're just stupid I guess. Read you history books. This is nothing new.

Yes, someday in the far, far millenia, when the sun starts to die and the earth chills slowly into an icy cold barren chunk of rock spinning pointlessly and quietly along in the heavens; then earth will have peace.

Not what you were looking for you say?

Unfortunately the world may never have peace, there are to many people who hate, and that hate passes on to the next generation. Peace, it aint gonna happen.

Religiosity aside, no. It is not in the nature of Man. Cold wars are as good as it has ever been or ever will be until we either nuke our way outahere. Now that we've discovered terrorists (Boy George pronounces them "tourists") we have a never ending supply of bad guys and good guys (us self righteous ones) to keep the world divided into them and us. And as Pogo once said, "we have met the enemy and they is us."

As much as it will ever have war. Our job is to encourage and enhance peace wherever and whenever we can, on a personal level and on a geo-political level too...

Right now, the US is disregarding peace for profit. We need to alter our priorities and things could get better.

It is up to you really.
