why cant i have installed norton anivirus and norton internet security at the same time if they aren't the same, when i install norton internet security norton antivirus is deleted and when i install norton antivirus my computer ask's me to delete norton internet security first why is these and what can i do

I prefer not to have Nortons. I would lean towards perhaps getting McAfee or F-Secure. Both are great at keeping your computers secure from intruders. Good Luck!

Norton Internet Security includes the AntiVirus program. It deletes the other one because you don't need two AntiVirus programs of the same kind!

Because Norton Internet security includes norton anitvirus. And to have two antivrus programs, is bad- you end up having a computer virus.

Agree with first post by DZR001. AVG and Spybot.
Also add Microsoft Defender from microsoft.com. The list of what is considered "spyware" varies by vendors, having two anit-spyware programs is a good idea. One will get things the other misses.
(However do NOT try to run to anti-virus programs at the same time.)

2 anti-virus apps should almost never be used at the same time. They will "fight" each other when a virus is detected with the net effect being you will have less protection using 2 A-Vs then only 1.

Norton sucks, it tries to take over you system, get rid of it and use AVG anti-virus, it's much better and it's free

Hi, there maybe something virus with your IE.
i recommand you to try firefox. which is more safe than IE.
it can block that annoying ads and disable any virus on webpage. as you know, most virus are spread through internet.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.
