avg still has a free version, you can get it from their website at www.grisoft.com
make sure you check for updates before you start your scan so you can make sure you have the most up to date virus definition files.

Looks like you've already got the answer, but I have AVG too and it's great - my 10 year old managed to get a bunch of trojans on my laptop - i think he was clicking "ignore" to the warnings lol... anyway AVG's free edition got rid of them without any trouble, and if you can't remove them, just go to their website and they'll give you detailed instructions so that you can :)

Download AVG Anti-Virus from Grisoft, Ad-Aware from Lavasoft, Spy-bot Search and Destroy from download.com, Windows Defender Beta 2 Ver. from Microsoft. All are free downloads. Update all, and run them. Then reboot and go into "Safe Mode" and run them again, just to make sure that you've gotten rid of all the "nasties".

I use avg. I you don't have an antivurus program you need to get one or never go on the internet again. You will get them all the time. There are many that are free. Just do a search.

Well to cure that virus, you need anti-biotics. And in this case it's lime wire pro. you can download it off www.limewire.com make sure u get the pro one that's better. and downlaod a movie called virus shaker. you have to download it atleast 5 times to get a perfect result! Good luck :)

MICROSOFT IS ALWAYS FREE JUST DO A SEARCH YOU SHOULD FIND IT...I'M GOING THRU THE SAME THING AND JUST DOWNLOADED A VIRUS AND SPAM PROGRAM ALL FOR FREE, AND IT WORKED....GOOD LUCK I KNOW IT'S A HASSLE!
