Managing a movie theater. Oh yeah, sounds like tons of fun, right? The cleaning crew would smoke pot all night, the ticket girls were stealing money, the popcorn kept burning, oil would be everywhere, they were all stealing food and candy, and a few of them would drop acid and be talking nonsense to each other and forget about the movie reels. I was a babysitter at age 22 to a bunch of kids in the age ranges of 17-45, and the pay sucked.
Best job- I am now a graphic designer (yeah) and I just drew the menu for the Alamo Drafthouse and will be doing interior graphics for their lobby ... it's a movie theater!!

As a teen I worked for a cemetery. At the time it was not a bad gig. I got to work outside all day, and got to take breaks any time I wanted. The down side to that job was the cemetery was located on a large hillside. That meant that cutting grass with a regular lawn mower was a real pain in the a$$. Every once and a while, since part of the land was really hilly, we had to dig graves by hand, instead of using the back-hoe. digging a hole that big can really be a chore!
My best job is the one I have right now. I work in radio as a Regional Program Director. My second best job was a few years ago when I had a morning radio show. That was a really cool job. I still cant believe they actually paid me to sit there, play music, and act like a fool every day. I am thinking of getting back on the air again. I kind of miss it.

I once had a summer job cutting strings off lingerie in a sewing factory. It wasn't even pretty lingerie--really cheezy, tacky stuff. Had to stand on my feet the whole time, hours on end, with one 10 minute break in the a.m., a 1/2 an hour for lunch, then more standing and another 10 minute break.
I was 16 at the time. All the other women working there were menopausal ILGWU employees (that's a union), and all they talked about was sex. Drrrrrty sex. (I was still a virgin, and way embarrassed by it all.) These were not the classiest of women.
I'm a copy editor at a newspaper now. I love what I do. It's a lot of work, and I'm always busy, but it's always interesting, and I also get to do quite a bit of writing, which is the part of the job I enjoy most.

I used to work at Build-a-Bear and you'd think it was a great, fun job, right? WRONG! I mean, don't get me wrong, I love kids and it was fun for a while but what made my experience horrible was the management. Man, were they some of the snotties, b*tches I had ever met! Ugh, I'm glad I don't work there anymore. I love my job now. I'm a Physical Therapist Aide at a Nursing Home. I'm studying to be a Physical Therapist and it's really helping me get some much needed exposure to this medical career =)

I had a job in a salvage yard (worst) as a teen and the pay sucked for the work I performed. It was hot and sweaty and extremely dirty. I have to say the best is the one I have now. I went to a vocational/technical school for training in architectural drafting and now work as a draftsman with a very good architectural - engineering firm as a CAD tech. The wages, benefits, and bonuses are fantastic!

The worst - I was working in a coffee shop at a military department - awful! Smell -awful, look -awful, men -awful, everything - awful!
The best - secretary in factory for knitted garments - I made my self the programs I was working with, so I was in total control of the things that were depending on me, everything was perfectly working and I had enough time even to chat in Internet! :)
